For guidance only
A completely written page contains about 300 words. My rates are usually per word and the price varies depending on the subject (translating a personal letter is not the same as translating an article of quantum physics) and on quantity (I offer volume discounts). Here you are some examples, so you can get an idea:
A five-page document translated from English into Spanish or Galician could cost about 120 €. I do not charge a minimum price for this kind of translations.
Sworn translations are a bit more expensive; you must take into account that I am the translator but I am also a kind of notary for translations: I certify that the original document has been transferred faithfully to the translated one. Do not forget that I must mention all logos, stamps, symbols, signatures and other signs, which will produce more words to count. I will charge a minimum price of 25 € for this kind of translation. And if you need my translation to be legalized or to bear the apostille of The Hague, just let me know. I will do it for you and I will only charge the price of the apostille.
I offer volume discounts: If I must translate more than 15,000 words, you will get a 15% discount and if the document(s) have more than 30,000 words, then the discount is 30%
Urgent translations: I must apply a 25% surcharge.
I accept payments by PayPal
And remember, VAT must be applied if you are within the EU and you don’t have a valid number in the VAT Information Exchange System. If you are in Spain, VAT is always applicable.
